DIY Fly Trap with a Plastic Bottle

Looking to safely get rid of pesky flies in your garden? Use a simple plastic bottle trap. Cut the bottle in half and pour a sweet syrup, like lemon juice, into the bottom. Then, place the top half upside down into the bottom so the bottle’s mouth faces downward. The fly will be drawn to the bait’s scent and enter the bottle. Once inside, it won’t figure out how to escape through the narrow opening, eventually becoming trapped and dying.
